Electrical Systems Specialist

System One is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team in New Castle, PA. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

What You'll Need:
  • Associate's or better in Electrical Technology or related field
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent GED; secondary education preferred
  • Minimum of two years' working experience in a heavy industrial facility, steelmaking environment preferred
  • Documented high-voltage training preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
What You'll Do:

As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Reading and understanding drawings and schematics
  • Working knowledge of various types of motors and starters from 250 volt DC to 4160 AC
  • DC crane knowledge and servicing and troubleshooting experience
  • Working understanding of transformers and substations
  • Safe and correct operation of mobile equipment
  • Knowledge of proper and safe rigging methods

You will also assist in developing CMMS system job plans and preventive maintenance plans, and abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company, including plant safety regulations and work rules.
