Job Summary:

Texas Health Resources is seeking a skilled Dietitian I to join our team. As a key member of our nutrition care team, you will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to assigned patient populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Nutrition Care Process to provide effective and efficient medical nutrition therapy to patients.
  • Promote teamwork and support organizational goals by demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments.
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure essential shifts are covered and patient care is maintained.
  • Promote safe and effective care through effective communication and workflow practices.
  • Maintain competence through ongoing self-evaluation and study to identify and close professional knowledge and performance gaps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related field.
  • 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
  • 1 year of inpatient hospital experience, including experience with parenteral and enteral feeds, preferred.
  • RD - Registered Dietitian certification required.
  • LD - Licensed Dietitian certification required.
