Job Title: CDL Rear Load Driver

Company Overview: Rumpke Transportation Company, LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a CDL Rear Load Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a rear load truck to collect and haul waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.

Job Description:
Responsibilities of the position include:
  • Operating the truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Providing trash or recycling removal services to customers by emptying trash/recycling containers into the truck and hauling to a disposal site.
  • Pulling or pushing containers from enclosures or inside buildings as needed.
  • Delivering trash or recycling containers as needed.
  • Replacing trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
  • Cleaning up waste spills and overflows.
  • Maintaining and updating route & driver log sheets.
  • Conducting pre-trip/post trip inspections and completing logs.
  • Interacting professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body.

Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
  • A valid Class B CDL.
  • A valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
