Job Summary

AdventHealth Georgia is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer II to join our team. As a Security Officer II, you will be responsible for providing professional and positive interaction with the public, patients, employees, and administrators. You will respond to a variety of calls, provide assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations, investigate and document safety hazards, incidents, and criminal activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol designated areas to ensure the protection of the public, patients, employees, and property of AdventHealth.
  • Investigate suspicious activity or persons and report hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to the Security Operations Center.
  • Respond to events of varying degrees of vulnerability, including high vulnerability such as life-threatening events, natural disasters.
  • Participate in activities not directly related to Security operations, such as transport and release of bodies from the morgue, patient escort, elevator recall checks, and special event setups.
Requirements
  • High School Grad or GED
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
