Pulmonary Transplant Nurse

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a skilled Pulmonary Transplant Nurse to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to work in our Pulmonary Hypertension team. As a Pulmonary Transplant Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Triage patient calls and referrals from outside facilities and coordinate appropriate care.
- Assess and triage patients, developing and executing plans of care and upholding medical records.
- Implement and evaluate patient care interventions, including coordinating E Health efforts in Hepatology.
- Collect and evaluate data, monitoring and evaluating patient function according to assigned specialty area and identifying complications and interventions.
- Provide specialty area education to patients, families, and communities.
- Conduct research with physicians, gathering data and analyzing results.
- Work in conjunction with the Business Office to coordinate financial aspects of patient care.
- Coordinate Tumor Board and E-health efforts in Hepatology, if working with adult population.
- Obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
- Utilize evidence-based information to achieve and ensure patient safety and quality of care, while improving patient outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- 3 years clinical hospital experience and/or outpatient clinic experience required.
- 2 years LPN and/or Medical Assistant experience in a hospital and/or outpatient Clinic may be substituted for 1 year of RN Experience.
- 2 years RN critical care experience may be substituted for 3 years RN experience in a hospital and/or outpatient clinic.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing may be substituted for 2 years of RN experience.
- Current BLS certification upon hire or completion within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
- This job requires the incumbent to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle or personal vehicle (non-INTEGRIS owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma state drivers license as well as a driving record which is acceptable to insurance carriers.
