Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer for our construction division. This position is an essential part of our crew, performing a variety of manual tasks to support various construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical labor activities, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying different types of objects/materials.
  • Prepare worksite zones, install traffic barricades, cones, markers, and control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
  • Assist with setting up and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment using hand tools and machinery.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including jackhammers, plate tampers, concrete mortar/mixers, electric/hydraulic machines, torches, seal pots, chainsaw/quickie saws, heavy walk behind flat saws drills, and power tools.
  • Assist in jackhammering, mixing, and pouring concrete.
  • Care for company tools/equipment/machines.
  • Keep job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensure all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner.
  • Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA.
  • Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Construction Laborer position.
  • Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Prior experience working as a laborer or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background checks, including MVR.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends) and willingness to travel for extended periods.
