As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist at Norman Regional Health System, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, including nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and providing patient care.

This position requires strong professional relationships with cardiologists, opportunities for teaching and mentoring new hires, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment. To excel in this role, candidates must have relevant certifications, complete required training, and adhere to high standards of quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition; prepare, position, and provide patient care
  • Maintain a sterile environment
  • Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
