Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Leander Independent School District. As a key member of our Plant Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities' mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including filters, coils, and compressors.
  • Conduct energy audits and implement energy-saving measures to reduce consumption and costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address facility-related issues.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
