Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assist dentists and hygienists with patient exams, x-rays, and procedures.
  • Sterilization and Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and maintained.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and clinicians to ensure seamless operations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.

Requirements:

  • Education: Equivalent to a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and completion of a dental assisting program.
  • Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Current certification as a dental assistant, CPR/BLS certification, and any state-specific requirements.
  • Skills: Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain confidentiality.
