Position Overview:
CoxHealth is seeking a qualified and board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to fulfill the role of an inpatient Laborist. This position focuses on delivering outstanding care to expectant mothers throughout their hospital stay, managing the labor and delivery process, and addressing obstetrical emergencies as they arise. The role may also include performing minor gynecological procedures.
Key Features of the Role:
- Exclusively an inpatient role
- Structured shift schedule with no on-call responsibilities
- Responsibilities include covering a 706-bed facility featuring a Level IV Maternity Center and Level III NICU
- Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN specialists, Family Medicine doctors, and Maternal Fetal Medicine experts
