Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the strategic planning of system architecture and deployment, ensuring adherence to software compliance standards.
  • Shape the technical direction and contribute to the product roadmap and vision.
  • Execute large-scale, intricate, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Oversee the contributions of diverse engineering teams, including remote associates.
  • Lead root cause investigations for critical business and operational challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing and enhancements for application corrections.
  • Align with business objectives to ensure that organizational needs are fulfilled.
Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of experience in eCommerce software development.
  • More than 7 years of programming experience in designing highly scalable and efficient web applications (Java).
  • At least 5 years of experience with open-source technologies (Kafka, Spark, Cassandra).
  • Minimum of 4 years in developing and architecting high-transaction, high-throughput systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with Scala is preferred.
  • Proven experience in agile methodologies within a geographically distributed model.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
