Job Description

The Certified Pharmacy Technician III is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate distribution of medications in our pharmacy department. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

  • Managing medication inventory and workflow to minimize errors and delays
  • Preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborating with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and safety
  • Providing training and guidance to new employees to ensure a smooth transition
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and communication with colleagues and patients

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience as a certified pharmacy technician or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a CH accredited technician training program or equivalent
  • Current certification as a pharmacy technician and commitment to obtaining advanced certification within 12 months
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
