**Job Overview**

The Department of Internal Medicine - General Medicine at the University of New Mexico is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Administrative Coordinator.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who can work effectively in a multi-task environment, handle high levels of interaction, and provide exceptional administrative support to the division faculty.

Estimated Salary Range: $18.81 - $25.56 per hour

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining various aspects of the division, including:

  • Maintaining the Division website, including social media posts and advertising team work
  • Reconciling budgets, managing inventory control, and maintaining upkeep for two vehicles used by the team
  • Coordinating events such as retreats, fundraisers, and conferences
  • Facilitating travel arrangements and lodging for students attending conferences
  • Maintaining student rotation schedules and retaining student reflection forms for team review
  • Providing administrative support to division faculty and backing up support for other staff while out
  • Processing leave requests, tracking faculty development funds, maintaining master spreadsheets, and reconciling expenses reports
  • Assisting with travel arrangements and maintaining Division Inventory Control and offices

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis
  • Superb communication skills and the ability to handle high levels of interaction amongst several entities
  • Experience with UNM's Banner 9, LoboMart, Chrome River, TigerSchedule, Qgenda, Smartsheets, and other UNM programs
  • Experience working in a diverse work environment
  • Experience with Outlook email and calendar coordination/scheduling
  • Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects at a time, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
