Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Montcare Potomac, a nationally recognized skilled nursing and rehab center located in Potomac, Maryland. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to our long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients.

• Provide personalized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Meet all applicable state and federal regulations as well as company standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with medical and nursing staff

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
• Eligibility for registration exam prior to 1/1/24 or currently registered as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• 1 year work experience in healthcare including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics
