We're looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Position

This is a 13-week assignment in [CITY & STATE] where you'll work as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, providing occupational therapy services to patients. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Administer treatment to patients as a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines.
  • Educate patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding occupational therapy on an on-going basis.
  • Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings to Occupational Therapist.
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years' experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant preferred.
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.
