Job Summary:

As a Shift Manager at Arby's, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant during your shifts. This includes:

  • Supporting the General Manager: Providing guidance and assistance to the General Manager in managing the restaurant's daily operations.
  • Ensuring Service Quality: Maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Food Safety and Cost Control: Ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed and that costs are controlled during your shifts.
  • Supervising Team Members: Supervising a shift of up to 15 employees and ensuring that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Compliance with Labor Laws: Ensuring that all labor laws are complied with during your shifts.
  • Meat Pit Operations: Operating the restaurant on a day-to-day basis, including managing the meat pit and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standard.
  • Performance and Training Initiatives: Helping team members to improve their performance and skills through performance and training initiatives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to have a strong understanding of food safety protocols and labor laws.
