We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Select proper technical factors for study and perform diagnostic CT examinations in a caring and compassionate manner.
- Operate and maintain CT scanners, pressure injectors, and other related equipment.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues, including radiologists.
- Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
- Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist certification.
