Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter Craftsman to join our team at Belcan. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building, erecting, installing, and repairing forms, structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and install wood and other materials to assist with various types of construction projects.
• Read and understand drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
• Contribute to creating as-built drawings and maintain accurate records.
• Evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
• Think creatively to find innovative solutions to construction challenges.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate construction.
• Solve problems and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of job site safety and ability to identify hazards.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
