Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Associate II to join our Cardiology team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocol and research objectives, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement clinical trials, working closely with Principal Investigators, Research Coordinators, and other research staff.
  • Evaluate and abstract clinical research data from source documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete Case Report Forms (CRFs) and enter clinical research data into Electronic Data Systems (EDCs) provided by sponsors.
  • Provide supervised contact with research participants, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with regulatory submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and ensure compliance with federal and local guidelines.
  • Participate in required training and education programs, staying up-to-date on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
  • May be involved in training and education of other Clinical Research Associates, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
  • 1 year clinical research-related experience required.
