Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Animal Care Technician to join our team at Christensen Farms. As an Animal Care Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our pig herd.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional animal care and handling, adhering to our high biosecurity and animal welfare standards.
- Assist in maintaining pig herd health and vaccination programs, including performing artificial insemination and attending to farrowing sows.
- Care for growing pigs and maintain required sow records.
- Participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in animal care and handling.

Work Schedule
The typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, with a rotating weekend. You will have a scheduled day off during the week when you work the weekend.
