The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of specialized experience in Securities/FINRA, Professional Liability Defense, and Civil Litigation. A valid California bar admission is essential for success in this role.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience, along with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.
Compensation:$105,000 - $140,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:- Represent clients in various legal proceedings.
- Conduct thorough research and prepare legal documents and pleadings.
- Manage discovery processes and assist in legal transactions.
- Engage in mediations, hearings, and depositions as necessary.
- Maintain effective client communication and resolve issues related to cases.
- Implement best practices in client case management.
- Evaluate findings and develop strategic arguments for case presentations.
- Ensure timely completion of reports and projects in line with partner and client expectations.
- Accurately record billable hours following client guidelines and firm policies.
- Strong ability to analyze complex legal matters and articulate core issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state civil procedure rules.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding research and proofreading capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of legal procedures and current developments.
- Proficient in legal technology, including LexisNexis and time-billing software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong legal writing and research skills.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed based on caseload.
