Imaging Modality Specialist

Columbus Regional Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Imaging Modality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare system.

Job Summary

Under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, you will perform a variety of imaging modalities, including CT scans, to help diagnose and treat patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures, while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging modalities, including CT scans, under the clinical direction of a Radiologist
  • Ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures, while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our healthcare system
  • Develop and maintain expertise in imaging modalities, including CT scans, to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school or training program for Radiologic Technologists and eligible to be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Obtain registry status within 12 months from date of hire
  • Limited training in CT required, with proficiency in CT exams, including head and stone protocols, within 3 months from date of hire
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to the age groups of the patients for whom you will be assigned
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or BS Degree
Experience

No previous experience required, with training and on-the-job experience providing the opportunity to become proficient in basic aspects of the job within 1 month.
