Responsibilities
  • Ensure a fresh and appealing display of seafood products by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
  • Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
  • Maintain back stock in good order.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working and shopping environment.
  • Assist with sampling programs, keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing.
  • Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
  • Skin, bone, and cook or smoke fish; box up, label, and date cooked fish.
  • Assist with periodic inventory checks.
  • Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
