The position involves hauling touch hardware materials from various locations across the Southeast, covering states such as Virginia, Florida, and Mississippi. You will be operating a 53-foot dry van trailer, equipped with manual pallet jacks and lift gates. Ryder provides training on all necessary equipment, so you don't need prior experience.

As a Class A CDL driver at Ryder, you can expect a competitive pay rate, with solo miles paying $0.53 per mile and solo stops paying $23.75 per stop. Additionally, you will receive a generous per diem allowance of $28.00 per night, which can add up quickly with multiple nights out per week.
