Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to hazardous materials.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of hazardous materials handling areas.
- Oversee the proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Assist with permit required sampling and containment of chemical spills.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment.
- Assist with carpentry work on permanent structures and office equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and safety practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training and present information effectively.
- Basic understanding of carpentry and equipment repair.
- Ability to interact with computers and CNC controls at a basic level.
- DOT, Title 29 CFR, and Haz waste Management certifications.
- Introductory competence in shop math.
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical application.
This role requires working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to hazardous substances.
