RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to operate our scanners and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Preparation and Imaging: Screen patients for any precautions or contradictions, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging results.
- Scan Operations: Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures, adjusting scan parameters as needed to ensure high-quality images.
- Quality Control and Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control procedures on PET/CT equipment to ensure compliance with ACR and AOA guidelines.
- Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitor medical supply inventory, and perform daily and weekly departmental surveys to ensure compliance with radiation standards.
- Education and Certification: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, and ARRT certification in PET/CT.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in PET/CT imaging, with a strong understanding of radiation safety and quality control procedures.
- Skills: Excellent communication and patient care skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours: This is a Temp/PRN position working hours between 6:30pm- 5:00pm.
