The company has an opening for a Director, Procurement located onsite at its headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The Director of Procurement will be responsible for developing and executing the company's procurement strategy to ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, and strategic sourcing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market dynamics, supplier relationships, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement policies and strategies that align with the company's growth objectives
Act as the internal consultant on best practices in procurement, category management, and supplier management
Ensure procurement processes align with goals while adhering to budget and timeline constraints
Analyze spend data, internal needs, and external supply markets to create strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives
Identify opportunities for competitive bidding and process improvements
Oversee robust supplier selection processes using market analysis, precise RFPs, and data-driven methods
Optimize procurement processes for cost savings and efficiency
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to align procurement with project needs
Regularly report on procurement metrics, performance, and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results
