Job Summary and Qualifications
The MRI Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures involving ionizing radiation to detect pathology or assist in the treatment of diseases. Responsibilities include operating all equipment within the department and developing and organizing images for presentation to the radiologist. The role requires establishing and maintaining a positive rapport and professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and medical staff while working under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment.
- Graduate of a Vocational School or possess an Associate Degree.
