Dermatology Specialist

UNM Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Dermatology Specialist to join our team at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the advancement of dermatological care in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as necessary.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise medical students and residents in dermatology-related activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Board certification or eligibility in dermatology, with 3-5 years of directly related experience. State of New Mexico and Federal DEA certification, as well as medical specialty license or certification, are also required.
