About the Role

The District Inventory Auditor position is responsible for conducting thorough audits to ensure accurate inventory counts and reconciliation of computer data. This role involves collaborating with district managers and store managers to identify and address store-level issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform front-line accounting reviews at store level during retail inventory audits.
  • Develop a preliminary audit schedule for the district, including neighboring store rotations.
  • Assist store managers with invoice concerns, store organization, price adjustments, and abnormalities discovered in the system.
  • Conduct visual checklists at each store to detail store conditions, maintenance issues, safety concerns, marketing promotions, and loss prevention awareness.
  • Complete 15-20 retail inventory audits monthly, including data importation and processing, and uploading supporting documentation.
  • Achieve established average per hour (APH) counting goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of collected data.
  • Work in various environments with potential exposure to cold and heat.
  • Relate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation and builds partnerships.
  • Maintain a can-do attitude, demonstrating a sense of urgency and delivering excellent output.
