Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Weight Loss Specialist Dietitian. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop complex nutrition prescriptions to support patients in our medical weight loss and wellness program.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Provide education and guidance on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and weight management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited dietetic program and internship
  • Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registry (CDR) in good standing
  • Must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) or obtain an NPI prior to employment start date
  • Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Current member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or American Association of Nutrition
  • Certified Dietitian in the state of Washington
  • Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM) preferred, or must obtain within two years of hire
  • Minimum one year or more of in-patient or out-patient clinical nutrition experience providing medical nutrition therapy using the Nutrition Care Process preferred
  • Prior experience with adult obesity preferred
