Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Northern Nevada Health System. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for administering and implementing speech and language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients referred to speech and language pathology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.
  • Assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine "normal" life within the constraints of their disability.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities within the department and participate in CQI activities.
  • Assure personal competency and provide information related to departmental budget considerations in relationship to speech pathology needs for optimum patient care and service.
  • Assist in scheduling of patient visits for speech pathology evaluation and treatment.
