About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager/Principal to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Indianapolis or Fishers office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.
  • Review design aspects, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities.
  • Interact with clients, contractors, local government officials, and impact the project from conceptual and design phases to construction and grand opening.
  • Identify, capture, and manage clients, develop new and nurture existing clients, and build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Lead and direct others in the accomplishment of project work, work with staff to establish and meet budgets, and keep in constant contact with office leadership and others involved with related projects.
  • Help identify new market segments and deepen relationships in current markets.
Qualifications
  • 14+ years of experience working in the Land Development Sector.
  • BS in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License (P.E.).
  • Ability to speak and write professionally, develop and mentor staff, and provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverables.
  • Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution, interface with clients, network, and develop business.
