Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN, Registered Nurse Lead to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities of nursing personnel in patient care units, providing direction to Clinical Staff, and implementing work of assigned units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and oversee patient care delivery during assigned shifts, ensuring proper staffing and smooth operations of patient care units.
  • Coach and counsel individual team members, monitoring and providing feedback on performance and addressing training needs.
  • Document daily staffing, operational, and administrative records, maintaining compliance with governmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide direction and support to nursing staff, demonstrating and promoting respect for the dignity and rights of every patient.
  • Allocate team resources responsibly and equitably, delegate appropriate levels of responsibility and authority, and provide oversight and guidance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
  • BLS required.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact.
