  Job Title: Painting Specialist

  Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

  Job Summary:

    The Painting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of cylinders at the Dunn Gas Plant.

  Responsibilities:

•     Paint cylinders in accordance with company standards.
•     Apply barcodes and input data in handheld device as required.
•     Maintain cylinder painting systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•     Shot blast cylinders to remove old paint and prepare surfaces for new coats.
•     Present a professional image at all times while working on site.
•     Ensure that the work area is well-maintained and clean to prevent accidents.
•     Complete and maintain all company-required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
•     Comply with safety regulations and requirements to minimize risk of injury or illness.
•     Attend training sessions as required to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
•     Support fellow team members and perform other related duties as directed by management.

  Required Skills and Qualifications:

•     High school diploma preferred but not required.
•     Basic reading and writing skills essential for accurate record-keeping and communication.
•     Self-motivation and goal orientation necessary for meeting productivity targets and deadlines.

  Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

•     Must handle heavy cylinders and materials safely and effectively.
•     Work with hazardous materials in a controlled environment.
•     Stand and walk for extended periods while performing tasks.
•     Roll two cylinders at a time continuously to meet production demands.
•     Bend at the waist and knees frequently to access and maneuver cylinders.
•     Use feet to push cylinders into interlocking position and assist with moving them as needed.
•     Exert full body force to tighten ratchet straps regularly.
•     Twist cylinder caps continuously during painting operations.
•     Work in environments with loud noise levels and exposure to varying weather conditions.
