Job Summary

Walmart is seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Refrigeration Technician Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced HVAC Refrigeration Technicians to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC/R equipment
  • Perform major and minor preventive maintenance
  • Ensure available resources for HVAC/R maintenance and repair by managing refrigerant levels and parts inventory; tracking and ordering HVAC/R parts; and developing relationships with suppliers and contractors
Requirements
  • HVAC/R Vocational or Technical Certification
  • Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
