A competitive salary range for this position is $53,000 - $68,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Specialist to join our team in the Anatomy & Neurobiology/Xu Lab. The successful candidate will independently design and execute a variety of MERFISH experiments, including reagent prep, slide prep, sample prep, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and reagents for MERFISH experiments
- Order laboratory supplies and maintain inventory logs
- Update standard operating procedures and protocols
- Maintain laboratory machinery and tools
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete experiments
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (or equivalent degree) or equivalent research experience. A master's degree or five years of experience demonstrating expertise in the relevant specialization is preferred.
