Support Staff for Children

As a Support Staff for Children at Women In Need, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children from diverse backgrounds.
You will work closely with the Head Teacher to design and implement engaging activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a passion for supporting children's development.
Responsibilities- Activity Planning: Plan and lead engaging activities that meet the diverse needs of children.
- Classroom Support: Assist the Head Teacher in maintaining a safe, healthy, and culturally diverse classroom environment.
- Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents about their child's needs, concerns, and progress.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and provide support to children and families.
- Education: Associate's degree or Teacher's Assistant Certification required.
- Skills: Ability to interact with children and parents in a supportive and nurturing manner, knowledge of child development principles, and experience working with diverse populations.
- Language: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish a plus.
- Salary: $20.60 per hour.
