Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician II to join our team at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. As a member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating accountability and responsibility in recognizing patient problems, collecting accurate data, and participating in patient care.
- Prioritizing resources to ensure effective patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
- Assisting in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, you must have the ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and demonstrate proficiency in PC skills.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate for this position should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR preferred.
- Two years of experience in a licensed field and one year of cardiac cath lab experience.
- Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are essential.
