Job Overview

Position: Wastewater Operator

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (07:00 am - 4:00 pm)

Contract Duration: 12+ months with potential for extension

Position Summary:

  • The candidate must reside locally for immediate response to emergency situations and participate in rotating weekend inspections.
  • Preferred qualifications include NC wastewater certification and experience in pump maintenance.
  • Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional weekend duties of four hours on both Saturday and Sunday, plus additional hours for emergency callouts.
  • Responsible for the operation and upkeep of all machinery related to the primary service line.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment from other service lines is highly valued and will significantly influence annual evaluations and opportunities for advancement within the organization.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles. Compliance with all DOT regulations and record-keeping is required for DOT drivers.
  • Expected to communicate job status updates to management and client representatives throughout the job lifecycle.
