About the Role

R.E. Michel Company is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating, loading, and unloading delivery trucks, delivering products to customer locations efficiently and on time, and maintaining vehicles with proper fluids and cleanliness.


Responsibilities
  • Safely operate, load, and unload delivery trucks.
  • Deliver products to customer locations efficiently and on time.
  • Maintain vehicles with proper fluids and cleanliness.
  • Complete delivery records accurately.
  • Uphold professionalism when interacting with coworkers and customers.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in reading maps/directions.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOT physical card upon hire.
  • Satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate forklift.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with some Saturday shifts.

Work Environment

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety-sensitive position.
