About the Role:As a Registered Nurse in the Stroke Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals who have suffered a stroke or are at risk of stroke. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients with stroke or stroke risk
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest stroke care practices
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in stroke care or a related field
