EquipmentShare is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) to join our team at our rental facility in Panama City, FL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts
  • Use advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
  • Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or trade school certificate
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
