Radiology Imaging Specialist

About the Role:We are seeking a full-time Radiology Technician to perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Review patient history and physician's orders
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice
- Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate
- Prepare equipment and supplies
- Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures
- Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results
- Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures
- Enter, transmit, and report image results
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology required
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns, including weekends and holidays
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
