As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery that joins metal components, performing tasks with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute routine tasks with minimal supervision while adhering to detailed instructions.
  • Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in welding techniques and processes.
  • Identify and report issues in the welding process promptly to supervisors.
  • Utilize engineering drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
  • Operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment safely, following all safety protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team success.
  • Provide informal mentorship to new team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED; a technical school certificate is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least four welding processes, including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SAW.
  • The ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with various instructions.
