Role Responsibilities
As a Cardiac EP Technologist, you will be tasked with monitoring, circulating, and assisting in procedures under the guidance of an Electrophysiologist or physician's assistant. Your role will also involve ensuring the efficient operation of the Electrophysiology labs and providing education to patients and their families.
Qualifications Required
- Education: Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Education: Associate's degree in Radiology or Respiratory Therapy.
- Licenses: Current ACLS, RCES, and RCIS certifications.
- Preferred Licenses: Heart Rhythm Certification in Electrophysiology and/or Cardiac Rhythm Devices.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in an acute care environment with demonstrated skills in hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring.
- Preferred Experience: Two years in an Interventional Cardiac Cath and/or EP laboratory.
