Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is a key member of our team, responsible for maintaining the efficient flow of products through our distribution process. As a vital part of our operations, you will work actively, safely, and independently to ensure quality standards are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receives all inbound merchandise and locates proper pick locations.
  • Restocks order pick and flow lines to prepare the warehouse for order selection.
  • Ensures product placement in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
  • Maintains attention to detail by ensuring proper care of areas including balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other assigned areas.
  • Transfers merchandise from the receiving area to its appropriate location. Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
  • Packs products securely in cartons and totes. Applies shipping ID and marks cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
  • Ensures safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.
  • Maintains inventory integrity by adhering to system processes.
  • Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Performs end-of-shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
  • Maintains an orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
  • Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines. Reports any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
