Ironworker Foreman Opportunity

GPAC, a leading search firm, is partnering with a reputable Miscellaneous Metal Fabrication company to find a skilled Ironworker Foreman. This is an excellent chance to work with a respected leader in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of up to 3 ironworkers, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage projects involving railings, stairs, and light structural steel, utilizing expertise in fabrication, welding, and measurement.
  • Supervise team members, promoting a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and calculations to determine project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and weld steel components, applying mathematical and welding techniques.
  • Operate equipment such as welding machines, plasma cutters, and grinders, adhering to OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor job progress against established timelines, maintaining a high level of productivity.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in an Ironworker role, with working foreman experience.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, and measurement.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel for projects.
  • Railings and Stairs fabrication experience is a plus.

The Ironworker Foreman position offers a competitive salary of $27 to $32 per hour, along with standard benefits, profit sharing, 401k, vacation, and a company vehicle. Per diem is also provided for travel.
