Job Overview

CAT Scale Company is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our 2,200 CAT Scales across the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Perform concrete work and repair, including scale deck repair and trenching for conduit.
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including heavy machinery.
  • Maintain CAT Scale equipment and ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
  • Travel 2-3 weeks at a time, working 7 days a week, to various locations throughout the United States and Canada.
Requirements
  • A construction background is preferred, with concrete experience highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Able to work successfully under limited supervision and in a team-based setting.
  • Accountable for actions, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative to complete projects promptly.
  • Possesses the ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly and stand, kneel, and bend over long periods.
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
  • Valid Class A CDL with a good driving record (preferred) or ability to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment.
