SMT Operator

The SMT Operator is a critical role in our manufacturing process, responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment and performing PCB assembly with high precision and accuracy.

• Set up and operate SMT machines and equipment to ensure efficient and accurate PCB assembly
• Load and unload materials onto the SMT machine, maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize component placement on PCBs
• Inspect boards for defects and troubleshoot any issues with the SMT process, ensuring high-quality output
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines, maintaining a positive and productive work environment
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with company standards

• High school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience operating SMT machines in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of SMT processes and equipment
• Knowledge of PCB assembly techniques and electronic components, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Basic computer skills and experience with data entry and record keeping, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
